The Magic Man

This is the magic man.

He lives in a magic house. A house in the sky.

He wears a magic hat. The hat can dance.

He has a magic dog. The dog can fly.

He sleeps on a magic bed. The bed can float.

Embarrassing  Moment

Bobby is a student in junior high school. Bobby secretly likes Emily. Emily is a really cute and smart girl in his class. Bobby never feels comfortable talking or sitting next to her. After school, he often watches out for Emily and pretends like he doesn’t see her.

One day he is eating lunch in the cafeteria, and he sees Emily sitting nearby. He finally decides to talk to her. He gets up and walks toward her with his food and milk. Unfortunately, he trips on a chair in his path and the food in his hands suddenly flies onto Emily. She is covered in food and wet from the milk. Everyone looks at Emily and Bobby and laughs at them. Emily cries and runs out of the cafeteria. Bobby feels like an idiot. It is the most embarrassing moment for Bobby!

Bobby does not feel like going to school after this experience. The next day, Bobby sees Emily in school. Emily looks away from him. She doesn’t want to talk to Bobby. Bobby does not hide. Instead he stands in front of her and apologizes to her. He tells her that he likes her and did not mean to hurt her feelings. Emily looks up into his eyes and makes a small smile. During lunch they sit next to each other in the cafeteria. Everyone is looking at them. This time they are cheering for both of them!          

Spot Is Lost

Tiny takes his dog, Spot, for a walk in the park.

Spot sees a cat, then zoom!!!

Spot is gone.

Tiny looks all over for Spot.

First, he goes to the post office.

My Noisy House 

I have a noisy house.

In the living room, there’s a fish in a bowl on a table.

“SPLASH,” goes the water.

There’s a cat under the sofa. “MEOW MEOW,” says the cat.

In the kitchen, there’s a bird on the refrigerator.

此次運動會所舉辦的跳蚤市場義賣活動，

義賣所得為4300元，吉的堡另捐贈2000元，

我們於8/31(五)下午舉行公開的儀式，

上這堂課前,利用短短的幾分鐘和孩子們聊聊印象最深刻的節日,並請孩子說理由,

有孩子說:"聖誕節,因為可以得到聖誕禮物"

有的說:"端午節,因為可以吃很多粽子!!" (真的有吃這麼多嗎?!懷疑)

也有人說:"中秋節,可以吃很多烤肉和月餅"

看來孩子們都對"有的吃"的節日比較印象深刻~~"

終於...有人大聲喊:"新年!!!因為可以領很多壓歲錢!!"(哇~真是幸福啊)

這堂課主要是跟孩子介紹每個國家的新年慶祝方式及飲食都不一樣,

老師在課程中介紹世界三大嘉年華,分別是『威尼斯嘉年華』

、法國『尼斯嘉年華』及巴西『里約熱內盧嘉年華』，藉由

圖片及影片欣賞，一探外國嘉年華的熱鬧景象!

為了讓孩子感受嘉年華的熱鬧氣氛,老師指導孩子製作自己的

專屬面具,在動手做的過程中,孩子們都能確實的遵守老師的指

令並依照步驟完成,既鮮豔又亮麗的面具就這樣完成囉!
